FAQS
We’re here to help with all your questions, comments and concerns. Find the answers to our most commonly asked questions here.
We discontinued making our hemp cocktails due to the hemp ban coming after December 11th 2026. We have recently started making them in the New York recreational cannabis market and hope to explore options to re-introduce them in the Minnesota recreational cannabis market.
At licensed dispensaries in Minnesota, New York, New Mexico, Washington. These products are not available for online sales.
With regular use of cannabis, it is common to build a tolerance. To help combat this, it’s recommended to take a tolerance break or reduce frequency.
Cannabis and hemp come from the same plant family. The main difference is THC content: hemp contains no more than 0.3% THC by dry weight, while cannabis contains more. Both can contain cannabinoids like THC and CBD, but they’re regulated differently.
Gummies take 45 minutes to 2 hours to kick in and can last from 4-8 hours. Beverages may be felt within 20 minutes, but allow up to two hours for the full effects. The effects can last up to 3 hours. Everyone responds differently based on metabolism, tolerance, dosage and whether they’ve eaten. Always wait before consuming more.
Yes. Delta-9 THC naturally occurs in cannabis. Our products do not contain chemically converted THC.
Our THC-containing products may cause a positive drug test. Our THC-free wellness gummies and CBD topicals are not intended to contain THC, but we cannot guarantee a negative drug test. Some cannabinoids, particularly CBN, can interfere with certain initial cannabis screening tests. Testing methods and product composition can also affect results. If you are subject to drug testing, the safest choice is to avoid cannabinoid products.
Our products are vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free. Always check the ingredients list to be certain.
Store gummies and topicals in a cool, dry location out of direct sunlight. Please refrigerate beverages. Smokeable products may be kept at room temperature, in a dry location out of direct sunlight.
Everyone experiences cannabinoids differently depending on the product, serving size, tolerance and individual body chemistry.
THC — Tetrahydrocannabinol: Intoxicating. It may produce euphoria, relaxation, altered perception, increased appetite or drowsiness.
CBD — Cannabidiol: Non-intoxicating. Consumers often report a calm or relaxed feeling, though the effects may be subtle.
CBN — Cannabinol: Consumers often associate CBN with nighttime relaxation or drowsiness.
CBG — Cannabigerol: Non-intoxicating. Consumers may describe the experience as clear-headed, balanced or uplifting.
CBC — Cannabichromene: Non-intoxicating. It may contribute to a balanced, uplifted or relaxed experience, especially when paired with other cannabinoids.
Topical CBD is applied directly to the skin, where it may interact with the body’s cannabinoid receptors in that area. Consumers often report a soothing or relaxing sensation. Unlike an edible, it’s intended for targeted use and will not make you feel high.
Always speak with your doctor and pharmacist before using our products, especially if you take medications regularly.
Start with a low serving. If you’re new to THC, consider starting with half a serving and wait at least two hours before consuming more. Minnesota health guidance recommends beginning with less than 5 mg of THC.
Cannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds found in the cannabis plant. Scientists have identified more than 100 different cannabinoids, each with its own unique properties. These compounds interact with your body's endocannabinoid system, which plays a role in regulating everyday functions like mood, sleep, and appetite. While THC and CBD are the most well-known, they're just the beginning! At Minny Grown, we work with a variety of cannabinoids to create thoughtfully formulated products for different preferences and occasions.
Terpenes are naturally occurring compounds found in plants, including cannabis, that give them their unique aromas and flavors. They're what make lavender smell floral, lemons smell citrusy, and pine trees smell like the Northwoods! Cannabis contains a wide variety of terpenes, each contributing to a strain's distinct scent and flavor. Terpenes may also influence how cannabinoids interact with your body, making them an important part of what makes each cannabis variety unique.
The entourage effect is the idea that cannabinoids, terpenes, and other naturally occurring compounds in cannabis may work together to influence your overall experience. Rather than each compound acting entirely on its own, their interactions may shape how a product affects you. It's one reason two products with similar cannabinoid levels might feel different. While research is still ongoing, the entourage effect highlights the potential importance of the plant's many compounds working together.
Cannabis comes in a variety of forms, so there's something for just about every preference! Edibles, like gummies, are eaten; smokables include cannabis flower and pre-rolls; vapes use cartridges or disposable devices to inhale vapor; and topicals, like balms and gels, are applied directly to the skin.
